I don't know about you, but personally, my alam clock is not set to 2:30 a.m. to make that 3:00 a.m. sale. (!??!) Bravo to you if you can do it, but it's just not in me. I'll be waiting until Tuesday to hit the stores and hopefully bypass all the craziness. I'll take the left over sales, I'm okay with that. Really.
So, speaking of sales (wink!), I just wanted to let you know that this weekend I'm having a sale at my Etsy store. Your entire purchase is 10% off. Just click on the 'sale' listing to get the coupon code. And, starting on Saturday evening, gift certificates will be available. Just something to consider as you begin your holiday shopping.
I hope you had a blessed and memorable Thanksgiving. Have a great weekend!

Giveaway Winner
The winner of my very first Giveaway was Jen! She ordered two 5x7 pieces for her two children with thier American names, and Ethiopian names translated into Amharic. I had a lot of fun with the Giveaway and really appreciate Amy and her willingness to highlight me. I'd love to do another in the future, so if any of you out there are interested, let me know! : )

My very 1st Giveaway
I've been looking forward to this ever since I started this business. I've seen all these other families do giveaways and I couldn't wait to do one of my own. And, I found the perfect blog to do it on.
A couple of months ago I was looking for a graphic designer to assist with blog design. While I was looking around on a sample blog, I happened to notice this 'gotcha' day video from Amy, at Filled with Praise. It was beautiful and sweet to my heart, and I thought, "I should do a giveaway with her someday." Well, someday is today! :)
Click on the link or the picture and go to her site and check out her newest post about the rules to the giveaway (and don't forget to check out her cool video about bringing Elijah home while you're there!) I'm offering a $30 gift certificate towards a custom piece from my store. It could be yours... ; )

More Art
This 16x20 piece went to a sweet lady in Oklahoma. It says Philippians 4:13 in Amharic. I love all the crazy patterns and colors in this one.
Here is a 8x10 of an Ethiopian Boy's name, and middle name. Hopefully I'll be sharing a little bit more about this piece soon. ; )
We're driving up to Oklahoma today to participate in Oklahoma Baptist's 100th Homecoming. My hubby went to school there and so we're going to show some love and hang out with friends. Should be fun. All that to say, I might be a little slower in responding to emails this weekned. I hope whatever you do this weekend is fun and memorable too.
Blessings!

Wait No More : Texas
For all you Dallas-ites out there, there will be a Focus on The Family Adoption Event next Saturday (Nov. 13th) in the Dallas area. You can read a blurb here, and check out their site for more info.
"Right now, more than 3,500 legal orphans in the Texas foster care system are waiting for adoptive families. Texas has more than 25,000 churches, and God has given clear commands for Christians to take care of His orphan children."

Two more new pieces...
So excited about this one. Family. Prayer. Love. A great conversational piece to hang anywhere in the home.
Ephesisans 1:5 in Amharic. Wouldn't this look good in a little boy's room? ; )
